Henry and Mudge and the Wild Wind

イメージ
Today I read Henry and Mudge and the Wild Wind, a story in Ready to Read series. It was written by Cynthia Rylant. Storms make Henry Jumpy. They make his dog, Mudge, even jumpier. When the thunder goes Pow! , Mudge goes to hide. Poor Mudge! How can Henry help his best friend? I sympathized with the dog Mudge. I don't like thunder. Because I think the thunder may hit my house.                                    Vocabulary prisoner:囚人 Reference Rylant,C. (1996). Henry and Mudge and the Wild Wind. New York, NY:Simon Spotlight

If I have a chance to meet him I try to talk him and talk to!

He waits for Dr Ueno and then they walk alone. But one day, Dr Ueno doesn't come. Hachiko still waits.... I recommend that book because Hachiko is a famous dog in Japan. I think few people don't know the story. So I want to know it and try to see Hachiko.

He paints his home and it looks the same. Then someone thinks it is the queen's palace... That story was so fun. And my friend is similar to Mr Bean so I wanted to meet her while reading. And I learned that we mustn't have much desire.

I had a Takoyaki party with Sawako last weekend. We went to a supermarket to buy octopus, doughnuts, some snack food, and chicken. Then We went to MacDonald and bought french fry. A lot of Takoyaki we made were very delicious but we were full soon. And then we stayed up later night and sang with large voice. We enjoyed that party.

But he soon finds out that this is no ordinary cat-he wears boots for one thing, and what's more he talks! He also has plenty of crafty ideas up his sleeve. Soon, Tom and his cat are mixed up in an incredible adventure with an ogre, a king and a princess. I think cats can talk and understand what people say such him. If I can talk with cats, I'll try to do that. And I want to go shopping with cats. But I expect that cats only buy fish.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Today, I read Jack and the Beanstalk, a book in the USBORNE RADING series. It was written by Katie Daynes. Whwn Jack sells the family cow for five dry beans, his mother is furious. But overnight the beans sprout into a giant beanstalk...and discovers a dangerous world above the clouds. I was surprised at his strength and courage. The beanstalk was very tall and he fought a giant. I don't like exercise very much, so I'll  ignore it if I find very tall beanstalk.

Hansel and Gretel

Today, I read Hansel and Gretel, a book in the USBONE READING series. It was written by the brothers Grimm. Hasel abd Gretel are lost and starving in the deep, dark forest. Even stale bread and a scary stepmother would be better than engless trees. Then they spy a house made of chocolate and cake. Surely it's good to be true... I have read it in Japanese when I was a child. I wanted to live such a house. If I live in it, I always eat chocolate, candy, and cookies and share them my family as Hansel and Gretel.

Chicken Licken

Today, I read Chicken Licken, a book in the USBORNE FIRST READING series. It was written by Russell Punter.  One day, a tiny acorn dropped from the tree and hit Chicken Licken's head. " The sky is falling! " cries Chicken Licken. Soon every animal in the farmyard is rushing to warn the King. Even sly old Foxy Loxy wants to help. I recommend that you read the book. There are many funny characters in the story. So I think you feel happy when you read it.

When his family moves to a new farm, Marvin is sad and lonely...until he finds Rosie again. But now she's making a lot of trouble for everyone. Will she and Marvin ever adjust to the changes of a new life in a new place. I was impressed by the story because Marvin loves Rosie very much. How hard his life was, he always thought about Rosie. I want to make friends such a boy.

Today, I'm going to talk about my move. I moved from Omuta city to Kumamoto city last weekend. It was so hard. I have a lot of baggage so my father and father helped me. I haven't clean up them yet. I'm so happy to move because I can walk to school for 5 minutes. I used to go there for 2 hours so I have more 2 hours to sleep. I live near PUK now. Please invite me. I

The Castle that Jack Built

Today, I read The Castle That Jack Built, a book in the USBONE FIRST READING series. It was written by Lesley Sims. There's gold in the castle that Jack built - and a greedy dragon wants it. One thing leads to another in this new version of the classic nursery rhyme given a fairytale twist. I want to live in that wonderful castle. And the story is very funny because there are many accidents.

Bugs

Today, I read Bugs, a book in the USBONE FIRST READING series. It was written by Sarah Courtauld. Crawl into the wriggly world of bugs, and find out how they see, feed and make their homes. Discover glowing fireflies and dancing spiders, and follow a baby bug as it grows up, unfolds its wings and soars into the air.  I like to see them but I can't touch all of them. But thanks to this book,  I came to be interested in bugs a little.
