Olympic Adventure

Today I read Olympic Adventure, a book in Oxford Reading Tree. It was written by David Hunt. Outside the games, there were lots of guards. They only let men and boys in to the games. "We'll never get in," said Biff.(p.7) I knew that    for the first time, women couldn't take part in Olympic games from the book. It was not fair. What Was It Like?

Today I read What Was It Like?, a book in Oxford Reading Tree series. It was written by Roderick Hunt. The children were excited. They were going to take part in a play. It was all about the history of the town. The play was goung to be held in the park, and the children had to rehearse their scene. " I hope we don't forget what to do, " said Chip. The students experienced the war. I think it was good chance to feel areal situation of the war. A lot of people suffered from it. But now we can't experience. Last weekend's memory

Last Saturday I had a dance practice. It was so hard. And then I went to driving school. It was a heavy rainy day so my cloth was wet. The class of traffic was so sleepy. And last, I went shopping to buy some clothes and some food. The baggage was very heavy. But the day was so enjoyable!!  

The flying carpet

Today I read The flying carpet, a book in Oxford Story Tree series. It was written by Roderk Hunt. Suddenly the magic key began to grow. It was time for another magic adventure. ' This adventure is different, ' said Biff. ' The carpet is coming with us.' Biff and Kipper were on a flying carpet!(p.9) I wondered why the shop owner had a magic carpet. Storm Castle

Today I read Storm castle, a book in Oxford Story Tree. It was written by Roderck Hunt. ' Where are we going? ' asked Kipper. ' We're going to Storm Castle,' said Chip. ' Oh no! ' said William. ' I'm not going to like this adventure. Storm Castle is full of dangers.' 'Luckily Nick is with us,' said Biff.(p.9) I was surprised at the scene that the Giant robots run after the children. Betty's secret

Today I read Betty's secret, a book in Oxford Story Tree series. Betty and Fiona were twin sisters. They looked exactly the same. There was only one difference between them. Betty coloured her hair red and Fiona coloured her hair blonde. The twins lived together in a small house.(p.3) I loughed at the scene that Betty and Fiona changed their hair color. How hard they fought, they were reconciled. so I felt their ties are strong. The Ooze

Today I read The Ooze, a book in Atama-ii books series. It was written by Kyle Maclauchlan. Y ou take a deep breath, open the drain, and stick an old brush inside. It makes a wet, sucking sound. As you move it around, the brush suddenly gets stuck. you pull, but something pulls it back!  ''What the-?'' you say. You hold the brush with both hands, and pull as hard as you can. The brush come out - and so does something else! It's a slimy, green... ooze! I don't think that the ooze exists on the earth. If the strange thing exists, it may eats not only trash but also human. Last weekend's memory

Last Saturday, I went to driving school. I haven't visited there so I was so nurvous. First, I took a test and then filled out in some papers. It was so hard. Last I got a class about traffic. I want to get a driver license by September. So I'll do my best. Last Sunday I had a dance club. It took 2 hours. It was very sunny day and I got sunburned. My first event event will be held on July 1st. So please come!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Today I read Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, a book in Primary Classic Readers series. It was written by Joanne Swan. One say, in a small country, the Queen has a baby. Everyone is very happy. The baby has got pink cheeks and black hair. Her skin is very white. So the King and Queen say, 'Let's call her Snow White.' (p.2) In the story, seven dwarfs help snow white. The Ugly Duckling

Today I read The Ugly Duckling, a book in Primary Classic Readers series. It was written by Jennifer Health. ' Come on, ducklings. Let's go and visit the hen, ' says mother duck. Shw looks at the ugly duckling and she says, ' Walk behind your brothers and sisters. I don't want anybody to see you. you're ugly! '(p.4) I was disappointed at the mother duck. If one of her ducks have unique characteristic, she has to bring him up, I think. At the end, he became a beautiful swan and I felt  at ease. Vovabulary beak:くちばし Health, Jennifer.(2006). Alice in Wonderland

Today I read Alice in Wonderland, a book in Primary Classic Readers. It was written by Joanne Swan. This is the story of a little girl called Alice. Alice wanted to go to a place called Wonderland. 'Wonderland is not a real place,' said Alice's sister, but Alice still wanted to go there.(p.2) I have read the book written in Japanese. Suddenly Alice's body became small. The Elves and the shoemaker

Today I read The Elves and the Shoemaker, a book in Folk&Fairy Tale Easy Readers series. It was written by Violet findley. The shoemaker put the leather on his table. "Tomorrow, I will make one last pair of shoes to sell at the market," he said sadly. But a magical thing happened. When the shoemaker woke up, the leather had already been turned into a fancy pair of shoes! "Wow! I will sell these at the market," he said. I have read that story. The Three Little Pigs

Today i read The Three Little Pigs, abook in Folk&Fairy Tale Easy Readers series. It was written by Violet fidley. Once upon a time, there lived three little pigs. One day, each pig decided to build a house to keep safe from the big bad wolf. you see, the wolf loved to eat little pigs.(pp.2~3) The three pigs were very clever. The Tortoise and the Hare

Today I read The Tortoise and the Hare, a book in Folk&Fairy Tale Easy Readers series. It was written by Violet Findley. Once upon a tome, there lived a tortoise and a hare. the hare, who was very fast, always teased the slow tortoise. " Ha, ha, ha! Even a snail is faster than you! " he said.(pp.1~2 ) I thought the tortoise was very smart. If I were in his position, I would run very hard. From the story, I learned that competition is not always needed strength. Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Today I read Goldilocks and the three Bears, a book in Folk &Fairy Tale Easy Readers series. It was written by Violet Findley. Once upon a time, a family of three bears decided to go for a walk. they shut the door of their tidy house and off they went. By and by, a girl named Goldilocks saw their house. "What a nice home!" she cried. Then she opened the door and went incide.(PP. 2~3) I have read that story when I was a child. It was my favorite story and my mother often read me. last weekend's memory

I went shopping with Tomoka last Sunday. We went to the cafe called "biblio the que".and we ate bonbon. It was a parfait. It was very delicious. And then I went a department store and bought a present for my best friend. I wonder she will be very happy. Last, we had dinner for 3 hours. We talked a lot and ate variety of food. It was so fun and a wonderful day.

The Nutcracker

Today I read The Nutcracker, a book in USBORNE YOUNG READING series. It was written by Emma Hellbrough. Clara's adventure begins on Christmas Eve with an amazing present-a magic doll. Soon Clara is in a flying sleigh on her way to the mouth-watering Land of Sweets, where she finds an incredible castle and the dazzling Sugarplum Fairy. I love christmas event because many streets are decolated with tiny little bulbs and they're so beautiful. The story of the book was very fantastic so I want to becomme a tiny girl such Clara!

Rapunzel

Today I read Rapunzel, a book in USBORNE YOUNG READING series. It was written by Susanna Davidson. Kidnapped at birth by a wicked witch, then locked up in a tower, Rapunzel thinks all is most...until a handsome pronce comes to save her. But the witch is more cunning than they realize. Will Rapunzel ever escape? I have read that story on TV and I love it. But I surprised because the story of this book is different from the story which I know. The end of the two stories is happy so I feel happy!

The Princess and the Pea

Today I read The Princess and the Pea, a book in USBORNE YOUNG READING series. It was written by Susanna Davidson. Prince Patrick wants to marry a real princess but they're not easy to find. Still, anything is possible with the help of a cousin, a witch and a pea... I recommend this book because it makes me happy. I felt it is so important not to give up everything. And I wanna see a real prince or princess!!!!
