Anna did not sleep all night. She was excited. Early in the morning, her father called her. ' Come on, Anna! It's time to get up. It's a long way to the station.' Anna got dressed and she was soon ready. She did not eat breakfast. She was nervous. She was going to visit her aunt in Naira. She was going alone in a train for the first time.  (p.3) The main character went to her aunt's house by train. However she slept then. When she got up, she saw an strange man. She noticed that she overslept. After that a man said that he would help her. I can't oversleep on the train because I am afraid of stealing. However from this story, I want to encounter such a strange meeting. Laird, Elizabeth. (1997). Anna and the Fighter. Oxford: UK. Macmillan Readers.

BR-4 The Truth Machine

'Success!' cried Professor Verity. 'My new invention is ready. It is now complete. I shall call it The Truth Machine.'  The professor ran to the telephone and phoned the newspaper office. He told them about the Truth Machine.(p.3) When I  read the story, I didn't know what was the fact. The Professor Verity created a Machine. When people use it, they have to say true things. So some people wanted to use it. However all of them couldn't believe each other. From this, I think that the most important thing is to believe what people say, not a machine. Whitney, Norman. In 1833, I was eighteen years old. In the summer, Miss Temple left Lowood School. She got married. I wanted to leave Lowood too. I wanted a new life. 'I wii be a governess,' I thought, I put an advertisement in a newspaper.(p.16) I have read this book since last week. After I finished to read it and thought that it's important to have a free love that is not taken into account. And I think that it is not an ordinary thing of a character's love. The end of the story, Mr Rochester was badly heart. But Eyre said to be married. From this, I strongly felt that love for people was not related to their disability or propery.  Brontë, Charlotte. (1998). Jane Eyre. Oxford, UK. Macmillan Readers.

In 1825, I was ten years old. My father and mother were dead. I lived with my aunt and uncle, Mr and Mrs Reed. Their house was called Gateshead Hall. The house was in Yorkshire , in the north of England. My Aunt and Uncle Reed had two children - a boy, John, and a girl, Eliza.(p.8)  I know about Charlotte Bronte  because I learned the class of  British Literature. The main character of this story is Jane Eyre. She was an orphan and she lived with other families when she was young. She was bullied by them. After that she went to the Lowood school. The place was unhealthy. So some students became sick and died. Then the school moved to a better place. Jane went there for six years as a studentb and she became  a teacher for two years. This story is very long. So, I will read the continuation of it. Bronte, Charlotte. (1998). Jane Eyre. Macmillan Readers.
