BR-17 this is London

 The Pomans came to Britain in AD 43. They built a town on the River Thames. They called the town Londinium. Soon, they built a bridge over the river. Londinium grew bigger. Ships came to the town from all over Europe.(p.5)






 I have never been to London. But I want to visit there to study. The reason why I want to study is that the language spoken there is a little different from the language spoken in America. Language has each dialects. American English and England English is familiar to us. So I want to go there.





This book is in Macmillan Readers series. This book tells us a lot of information. I want to recommend that book.

Last weekend's memory

What Was It Like?

Today I read What Was It Like?, a book in Oxford Reading Tree series. It was written by Roderick Hunt. The children were excited. They were going to take part in a play. It was all about the history of the town. The play was goung to be held in the park, and the children had to rehearse their scene. " I hope we don't forget what to do, " said Chip. The students experienced the war. I think it was good chance to feel areal situation of the war. A lot of people suffered from it. But now we can't experience. BR-5 Anna and the Fighter

Anna did not sleep all night. She was excited. Early in the morning, her father called her. ' Come on, Anna! It's time to get up. It's a long way to the station.' Anna got dressed and she was soon ready. She did not eat breakfast. She was nervous. She was going to visit her aunt in Naira. She was going alone in a train for the first time.  (p.3) The main character went to her aunt's house by train. However she slept then. When she got up, she saw an strange man. She noticed that she overslept. After that a man said that he would help her. I can't oversleep on the train because I am afraid of stealing.
