Most people love the taste of chocolate. Some enjoy sweet milk chocolate and others prefer strong dark chocolate.(p.1) This story is about the history of chocolate. I like dark chocolate better than milk and white chocolate. They are very sweet, so I don't like them very much. Chocolate is used by many productions.  Alcatraz Island first became an important prison in 1907. At this time, it was only a prison for soldiers. Then, in the 1930s, the U.S. government needed a place for the most dangerous people in the country-people from wild cities like Chicago or New York. They thought nobody would be able to escape from the island of Alcatraz.

  It is the year 1898, and you are Mycroft Pound, the famous detective. You are sitting in your house in London, one cold November evening. There is a knock at the door. It is Inspector Freewell of thr London police.(p.3)   I haven't read this book before. I want to go to London to study. So if the accident happens so often, I think I don't want to go there. The scene which I was excited is that many people looked for a criminal.  This book is in Oxford Bookworms Starters series. I read the series for the first time.  The Pomans came to Britain in AD 43. They built a town on the River Thames. They called the town Londinium. Soon, they built a bridge over the river. Londinium grew bigger. Ships came to the town from all over Europe.(p.5)  I have never been to London. But I want to visit there to study. The reason why I want to study is that the language spoken there is a little different from the language spoken in America. Language has each dialects. American English and England English is familiar to us. So I want to go there. This book is in Macmillan Readers series. This book tells us a lot of information. I want to recommend that book.
