BR-3 Jane Eyre ⓶

In 1833, I was eighteen years old. In the summer, Miss Temple left Lowood School. She got married. I wanted to leave Lowood too. I wanted a new life. 'I wii be a governess,' I thought, I put an advertisement in a newspaper.(p.16)


I have read this book since last week.After I finished to read it and thought that it's important to have a free love that is not taken into account. And I think that it is not an ordinary thing of a character's love. The end of the story, Mr Rochester was badly heart. But Eyre said to be married. From this, I strongly felt that love for people was not related to their disability or propery.

Last weekend's memory

What Was It Like?

Today I read What Was It Like?, a book in Oxford Reading Tree series. It was written by Roderick Hunt. The children were excited. They were going to take part in a play. It was all about the history of the town. The play was goung to be held in the park, and the children had to rehearse their scene. " I hope we don't forget what to do, " said Chip. The students experienced the war. I think it was good chance to feel areal situation of the war. A lot of people suffered from it. But now we can't experience. BR-6 Good Wives

  This book is a story about four sisters-Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March. They lived in a small town in the state of Massachusetts, in North America. Mr March, the girl's father, was a minister. He worked at a church in the town. (p. 7)   This story has started the scene of Meg's wedding. Newli married Meg tried to make a wonderful family but suffered from lack of experiences. I felt that this is not unsual. Then she was temped by her friend to buy an expensive dress,  and she feared her husband.
