Magua travelled for two hours from Fort William Henry. The Indian brave ran most of  the way, through thick forests and along hidden paths, to reach Fort Edward. He had important news from Colonel Munro for General Webb, Fort Edward's British commander. (p.13)

This is a story of France and Britain fighting for the United States. It was interesting because there are battles between tribes and there are scenes where characters fell in love.

What Was It Like?

Today I read What Was It Like?, a book in Oxford Reading Tree series. It was written by Roderick Hunt. The children were excited. They were going to take part in a play. It was all about the history of the town. The play was goung to be held in the park, and the children had to rehearse their scene. " I hope we don't forget what to do, " said Chip. The students experienced the war. I think it was good chance to feel areal situation of the war. A lot of people suffered from it. But now we can't experience. my weekend's memory

I had a Takoyaki party with Sawako last weekend. We went to a supermarket to buy octopus, doughnuts, some snack food, and chicken. Then We went to MacDonald and bought french fry. A lot of Takoyaki we made were very delicious but we were full soon. And then we stayed up later night and sang with large voice. We enjoyed that party.
