Survival Adventure

Today I read Survival Adventure, a book in Oxford Reading Tree series. I was written by Roderick Hunt.

The children could see that Amy was caught in the trap. They ran to help Little Fox. Together they pulled open the jaws of the trap. ''Ugh!'' said Chip, ''What a horrid thing.'' ''The trappers use them to catch animals,'' said Little Fox. ''Traps like this are cruel.'' (p.15)

When Amy was caught in the trap, All of their friends helped her. So I think to cooperate with someone is important. And it's important to try to talk with people whom I don't know about his or her.

Today I read What Was It Like?, a book in Oxford Reading Tree series. It was written by Roderick Hunt. The children were excited. They were going to take part in a play. It was all about the history of the town. The play was goung to be held in the park, and the children had to rehearse their scene. " I hope we don't forget what to do, " said Chip. The students experienced the war. I think it was good chance to feel areal situation of the war. A lot of people suffered from it. But now we can't experience. BR-18 Mystery in London

  It is the year 1898, and you are Mycroft Pound, the famous detective. You are sitting in your house in London, one cold November evening. There is a knock at the door. It is Inspector Freewell of thr London police.(p.3)   I haven't read this book before. I want to go to London to study. So if the accident happens so often, I think I don't want to go there. The scene which I was excited is that many people looked for a criminal.  This book is in Oxford Bookworms Starters series. I read the series for the first time.
