Victorian Adventure

Today I read Victorian Adventure, a book in Oxford Reading Tree series. It was written by Roderick Hunt.

Gran was having tea with Queen Victoria. ''Gran!'' said Chip. ''What are you going in our adventure?'' ''I'm having an adventure of my own,'' said Gran.(p.28)

I'm long for the life of the nobility. They live in a large house and a lot of home helpers are employed. But I think there are some troubles about fortune.

Last weekend's memory

Today, I'm going to talk about my move. I moved from Omuta city to Kumamoto city last weekend. It was so hard. I have a lot of baggage so my father and father helped me. I haven't clean up them yet. Today I read What Was It Like?, a book in Oxford Reading Tree series. It was written by Roderick Hunt. The children were excited. They were going to take part in a play. It was all about the history of the town. The play was goung to be held in the park, and the children had to rehearse their scene. " I hope we don't forget what to do, " said Chip. The students experienced the war. I think it was good chance to feel areal situation of the war. A lot of people suffered from it. But now we can't experience. BR-18 Mystery in London

  It is the year 1898, and you are Mycroft Pound, the famous detective. You are sitting in your house in London, one cold November evening. There is a knock at the door. It is Inspector Freewell of thr London police.(p.3)   I haven't read this book before. I want to go to London to study. So if the accident happens so often, I think I don't want to go there. The scene which I was excited is that many people looked for a criminal.  This book is in Oxford Bookworms Starters series. I read the series for the first time.
